That could lead to a belt slip or fast belt wear. Not sure if it really would.

You could try filing it down to smooth, looks OK to me.

shud be ok.

it does not look too bad.
u can also check the groove to c how sharp it is.
i doubt it will cause a belt slippage.
But the real question is how did it happen ???
I want to know ??? (jimmy cliff) ??

I think since it is designed to be balanced removing material is the last thing to do.

I received it this way, I am asking if it is a problem so I can determine if it needs to go back to it's seller.

Does the belt hit that part of the pully? If not I would not think it to be a problem. It minor so I don't think balance will be a problem. But hey, if the seller will send you a new, I'd send it back.

The belt does not seem to be in contact. My main concern is balance. I suppose I should contact UT and ask them.

It came from the BM I doubt there is another where this came from.

Response from UR:

Ah that sucks! It is perfectly usable though, it’s a pain in the butt to ship back and forth. Put it on and forget about it, your smile once you hit the throttle will make you forget the ding

I did not get it from UR. They will say it was damaged after it left them. I doubt they would say it is fine if it were not.

I am ok putting it on now that they have seen it and say it is ok.

I've seen that before and I have asked UR. They have told me it won't affect it and it's not b/c it's a sales pitch b/c it didn't happen when it came from them. If you want you can use a small file to make sure it isn't sharp. If it were on the grooves it might be an issue with causing issues with the belt but not on the edge.

Just send them back a response and say, "great, I guess you will assume liability if this directly leads to any issues down the road since you are so sure"

I have been searching for almost an hour trying to find the size of the crankshaft bolt. I found alot of threads complaining about how much the pulleys cost but nothing on the bolt size.

It occurred to me to look on oemacura and I did not find the bolt size but I did find that the stock pulley lists for 100.00!

http://www.oemacuraparts.com/partloc...layCatalogid=0

Can anyone tell me what size the crankshaft pulley bolt is please?

I think I used a 17MM. Not a 100% sure though. Maybe 19mm. Maybe someone else can confirm. I'm thinking it was 19mm .
