Dimming radio lights
I Just recently noticed that the display light on the Bose 6 cd changer/Radio turns OFF or dims out the radio lights so much its dark when the lights are turned ON at night.
Is there a fix ??
i have also read online of a possible service bulletin out for this.
when this happens u can't see the display at night.
everything else works, dimmer still controls the other lights and raido still works fine.

So if all the other lights work fine, then you have a problem with the radio. Remove it and inspect. That seems more like detailed electronic work. Might be cheaper to replace it.
I'm betting the bulbs are fine, but the current is just not high enough any more. You could try swapping the bulbs out for LEDs?
