Differences Between These 2 5ATs

I was at www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/ and now see that there are 2 different auto trannies that are now available for the '01s:

KA5AT
KL5AT

maybe 1 is for the tl-p and the other for type s model??

KA = 49 state emissions

KL = California emissions

dunno what that would have to do w/ the tranny

On the left side, there is a directory of terms.

KA5AT: 49 State Emissions
KL5AT: California Emissions
