I got a car loan at the Credit Union at 7.5% for 36 months and the Credit Unions usually gives you best rest if you join one. And sometimes, the Dealerships will match them.

Paid cash...kind of. Home equity loan for that and home renovation from Credit Union at 6.9% for year 1. Goal is for Greenspan to right the ship and allow me to liquidate before the rate goes to 8.9%

I think I'm paying 9.9% from some bank that Acura recommended. Acura also would of given me 9.9% for 48 months $17,200 loan. I've only paid off 2646.66 since Oct 2nd. I was planning on paying it off this year but I seem to be spending my money else where
I do have a $3k bonus check coming so hopefully I can make myself put it towards the car and forget about that new surround sound system I want.

Paid cash... Well a check actually. It drained me pretty well, but I don't believe in leasing. Limits on mileage was not an option since I didn't know where I would be working. I ended up worling ten miles away from home, so I probably could have leased. Oh well! The path not taken... I'm still recovering financially, and I will be for the better part of this year.

I got a $25,000/7.25%/60mo. loan from the credit union. (Payments are $438/mo). The rest of the purchase price came from the sale of the old car and savings. I'm down to a $15k balance and hope to be done by the end of the year.

Please have a crane drop on my car so I have to buy a new CL-S. But wait till I'm not in the car. Thanks
your payment is $438/mo for 60 months, thats a total of $26280. The interest is only $1280??????? This is impossible!!!!! for a 5 yr loan. This is like a 1.5% loan or something. Are u sure it is 60 months, not 72????

Also, check with the Union that you want to join. I joined one but I had to join their own homegrown "association" which was founded to help the inner city kids in their home state (IL). I had to donate at least $25 to join for life. It was a scam to satisfy govt requirements for joining a CU.

I hate car payments.............once you get off them for a while you'll see what I mean. Seems like every time I got a new ride I just swapped payments. Had the 99 Cobra paid off but it being a POS I had to step up to the CL-S. Killed me to finance part of this thing but I only owe Chase 7,500 which I intend to pay off this year.
