Did I get a god deal or did I get shafted?
Question for anyone who wants to tell me:
I bought a silver '01 CL-S two weeks ago ( only 10,500mi ) no navi - but w/ the spoiler....I also got the 100,000 mi bumper-bumper warantee.
It is pretty flawless ( had an issue w/ the bumper but they repainted it ) ....I also got the 5.9% financing rate for 60mos.
Before tax and tags the total price was $25k
How did I do??? Just curious, hope I don't end up freaking out
Thanks in advance!
Mike

About that price ...
Fact is that while trade-in value is low as hell, dealers are still getting good money for the CL-S used. Seems the same situation as the S4.
If you're happy with the car, then forget that you *might* have gotten it cheaper somewhere else. I'm in Maryland, and I've seen those Type-S's go for close to original invoice with that mileage.
Good luck!

I bought my CL-S right when they came out in November of 2000. My friend was a salesman at Acura at the time, so I got my CL-S non-navi for right around $30K......I think $25K with a 100K mile warranty isn't all that bad

Got da Internet Goin Nutz
I got mine ('01 CL-S w'Navi) in March '01 with 8K miles for $27K OTD. But I had to pay 500 to get it shipped in from Cali. Lets just say I love the Black Market section of this site.
They probably made an extra 2K off of you at the most but none the less you got a great car. Now drive the hell out of it and forget you ever saw this board . It will break your pockets as you try to mod your ride. I know it got me!

Ahh F it - I didn't get too screwed, I really appreciate the input - I do love the car! So I guess I paid around the avg. dealer price with the low miles and all---Since I live at home w/ mommy and daddy I guess I cant complain too much
...and they pay my insurance, I told them I was getting a mustang and they freaked....I told them if I buy another car they would have to make up the cost difference ....they said OK, and now they pay the $110/mo. insurance....Gotta love it!

Where is my super sauce?
I bought my '03 with Nav/six speed from Ardmore this past April. I walked out of there with a deal that was not 'the deal of the century' or a big rip. It was somewhere in the range of 'fair'.
After a serious amount of haggling they gave me a low (bottom end) blue book for my trade-in that they originally offered $500 for.
The bottom line - for my needs it was 'good enough' so I didn't have to drive all over the Delaware Valley for a six speed. The convenience of the deal was worth something. I also wasn't interested in selling my trade-in on my own. Time is money...
My dealer was some yahoo that knew less about Acura then I did. I think they do a bigger VW volume there.
The deal is done. Just enjoy your new ride. It's really a fun car!

the guys at armore are jerks. I looked there first for my 3.0 and they had the one i wanted. Shopped everywhere else. the other places didn't have the color i wanted, but i wanted to see how much they would take off the price. I was given i think 1500-2500 off everywhere else. Go back to ardmore, find the one i want go to buy it, when i asked about discounts (like the others) and the guy laughed in my face and rudly said "no." I left and bought 3 Acura's at Metro in philly.

Gotta agree with everybody. You may have not gotten the best deal, but it's done. F*ck it. This is a kind of car you can hang on to for a long time. Enjoy it. It is a great car.
