Did anyone paint the backs of their mud guards the same color as the car?... and if so... lets see some pics of it.

OOh hell yeah

Thats what i am talking about.... Good stuff... I like it... I am doing the same.... I figure, I will save myself the heartache when i wax the ride and touch a painted mud guard accidently compared to touching one with wax that is not painted...

Thanks K-dawg

Yo

Yep, I've got mine done.

My bodyshop had paint leftover from when that patched her up from the accident last year. He cleaned them, primer'd, painted, and clear coated them, with flex agent added where needed.

They match my body color perfectly. I'll try to get pictures up tomorrow.

Gee thanks for posting that. I also didn't know mine was bookmarked too

I'll also add after 7 months, of heat, humidty, 3K mile road trips, & horriable downpoors of rain, the paint is holding up great. When I can wash the car again, & put a coat of Z on, they look brand new.

I was wondering if any Aegean Blue owners had theirs painted. I'm guessing that this isn;t something you should do by yourself; get a body shop to do it???

Yeah trying to match that color on your own would be $#%#$^. My guy had some of the paint left over so he did it for free. He said though that it wouldn't really be TOO cheap to make up an exact color code matching batch of it if he had of had the extra.

To those that painted theirs: did any of you go the ghetto route and use rattle can paint and then a layer of clear coat? Matter or glossy, etc...
