Diagnostic Connector Location

My check engine light has been coming on in my 2001 CL. I got I code reader, but not sure where the connector is. I think it is below the ash tray. Is that correct? And how do I get to it? Do I have to take the center console off? Or is there a cover that can be removed to access the connector?

Thanks,
DELO

i thought there was a connection below the coin holder. theres a storage space between the shifter and coin holder and there is a plastic "wall". you remove the wall and there is a connector there.

Thats only on 03s. On 01s and 02s its under the not an ashtray thing. There is a little peice of plastic in the little valley that you can pop off with a small screwdriver and the OBDII connector is right there.
