Definitely not the best day

As I was coming home from work this lady in a dodge magnum decided to gun her car on the onramp and then slams into my CL (bitch i just got the shit back) which hit my passenger fender and push me into the divider wall at 70mph and then my driver side tires blew and I'm surprised the airbags didn't deploy. Oh yeah I also tasted my steering wheel which didn't taste good at all...I was probably in my car for about a good 2 minutes cause I couldn't remember anything for a few seconds......the lady stop and then came up to me and asked if I was ok......seeing that i was kinda bleeding she then said lemme go call the ambulance and as she gets back in the car she literally took off -_- Hit and run and you think i could get the plates? yeah right I can't even see anything for a whilez.....drove my car home going like 15mph and my insurance is going to take care of this matter tomorrow.

I would have chased her down but my car is technically not movable to pursue her.....I barely could get my car to get up to 15mph and the car was shaking like no tomorrow. Right now I'm just gonna rest it off and see how bad the damage is tomorrow morning.....sux that I have a college exam tomorrow morning....thank god I still have my civic or else it's like 5 in the morning for me to wait for a stupid public transportation bus.

Damn!!! Hit & run is even worse! Can you go to the DMV & get a owners list of all area Dodge maguum owners? I know some states let you for a fee. Track her down. Go to the cops first get a police report.

Sounds like a fair amount of work, but I would love to see someone do it. Did it have PA plates? How much damage was done to her car? If it's consirable, then it will be in a body shop some place. Maybe that's a way to go if you can get a list. Do some digging.

If it was me I'd spend evey minute tracking the her down. Not enough to hit & run, but I hurt my head in the process then she says I'll call for help & speeds off????
The bitch needs to be taught a lesson.

Are there paint marks on the car where she hit you? Make sure no one takes them off. That way they can match her to the incident.

I'm with ya. I think it can definately be done.

Keep any panels that the body shop removes so you have some of the transferred paint.

Any pics of the car?

Did the police show up? Did you file a hit and run report? Seems kinda fishy. First thing I would have done would have been to call the cops and file a report.

Insurance is gonna investigate it anyway, why give them any reason to doubt you? There's nothing to prevent the other person from saying you hit her and fled.

man the first thing i woulda done is called the cops and told them what happened with a description of the vehicle and her and where her car was damaged and what road she was traveling on...from what you said it sounded like she was getting on the highway. if you had done that im sure state troopers woulda found her mighty quick, if not they coulda found a couple possible matches and u coulda picked her out since you say her when she approached your car..but apart from my advice im sorry man, that is seriously fucked up..if i found her before the cops did id probably backhand her on both sides twelve times then kicked her in the face...but thats just the subtle approach...

I've made a police report last night since I decided not to wait till this morning......the police was like I'll come by tomorrow morning and you can show me where the accident was.....we went to the accident scene and you can literally see my car scrape against the divider wall for about a good couple of feet. The officer said he's going to investigate and hopefully something turns up.....The lady's magnum if I saw it correctly was pretty messed up to.....I sworn I remember seeing a big gap between the front bumper of her car to her fender and so worth.....Today I had to take my chemistry exam and I literally bombed it. I had a really bad headache still from yesterday so I decided to go to the hospital next to my campus and get myself checked out. Doc says I should be fine I got a hard head -_- the bruises will go away in a few weeks.

good lord......allstate insurance lifted my car up to see the damage and my sub frame is banged up with major scratches but other than that it's ok.......but my driverside suspension....I'm a little bit worried about that cause the car when it's sitting down on all four wheels it's leaning towards the left hand corner.

Yeah, the immediate reaction is to be upset at the woman, but anymore I am really not that surprised (unfortunately). Since you are a college student, I assume you work evenings so it might be harder to find a witness. I have seen people place ads in the newspaper looking for witnesses; that may be a possibility.

But like others have said you were not hurt and other than the Chemistry test, hopefully you will come out of this situation better than you might think (especially if you can ID the woman that hit you).

My god.......i went to check out my car at the bodyshop where the car was sent to and believe me I can't imagine how bad it looked on the bad side where the magnum hit me......I must say the bodyshop is doing a really good job on the accident side. The Passenger and Driver side fender is looking like nothing happen to it but it looks like I'm gonna have to look for new wheels cause two front rims are cracked. Not only that my car sounds like ass....when you start the car it makes this rumbling noise as if it was a maxima with hotshot headers and cattman exhaust. It seriously almost sounds like my friend's stillen supercharged max.......I can only assume that it's because of my collector pipe from my header

racersky,

Did the bodyshop find any paint from the Magnum on your car? If not, good luck with insurance. I'm sure the adjuster will be looking for signs that someone hit you.

I have a family member in the auto insurance business and he said it's insane how much they are cracking down on insurance fraud. His comment was you're guilty until proven innocent.

They found signs of paint so their not going to accuse me of insurance fraud or anything.......they are now making a decision if they should total my car or not -_-
