Saw a black one in person with one and def thinks it looks better.

I really wish I hadn't gotten the OEM spoiler when I got my car. Always wanted a car w/ a spoiler, so I got it, but in hindsight, I think the SMR CL's look better w/o a spoiler now.

Really? I thing the CL kinda looks naked without a spoiler. I really wished I had gotten a lip spolier when I had the trunk lid replaced. I really like those.

I like the clean look w/o the oem spoiler now (see Tulanian "tu-tone" thread)... But if I was buying my CL today, I'd skip the oem spoiler and if anything go with the M lip spoiler (or nothing at all).

I like my m5 lip. But them when I see a nbp around with the oem spoiler I like that one more. I think it's just hard to be happy with what you have, which is why we are all living in the money pit.

I never iked the CLS OEM wing spoiler my car came with, but it costs at least $500 to remove it and patch and repaint the trunklid. I agree the CL trunk needs design help though, so I guess it balances out.

I noticed Honda tried to improve the similar round butt on the 06 Accord Coupe by adding a nice creased edge, with the integrated 3rd brake light in the crease. They even extended this crease into new tailights. It did improve the rounded Accord's rear a lot IMO.

I think a lip on the CLS looks best.

Yeah, some of the things they've done on the accord (redesigned rear, LED tailights) and TL (bluetooth, etc) make me wish that they would have keep the CL around.... One can only dream of what the 3G CL would look like by now
