ok everybody,

my friends are pressuring me into hooking up my cls since the sun is coming out here in the northwest. (it's kinda rare) anyway the reason i'm hesitating is because i rather get a 350z/g35c. don't get me wrong, i love the cls. that's why this decision is so hard to make. so now i'm leaving it up to you guys and girls of this forum to help solve my problem.

if i was to mod the cls here's what i will do with it:
(oh yeah, the car is an 01 sundance gold by the way.)

-eibach pro-kit
-giovanna kobe 19x7.5 (gunmetal)
-tl bodykit
-2003 headlights
-tinted windows (to match the rims)
-comptech ice box
-comptech headers
-comptech supercharger
-landspeed racing cat (does anyone have this?)
-brake kit (don't know which brand yet?)
-axle back (don't know which brand yet?)
-m5 lip

any advice would be helpful. thanks

might as well jump on the bandwagon.

 

if money is no object to you, then hook up the cl/s. but remember you probably will only see about a quarter or less of the money you put into it when it comes time to sell.

Sounds like you made up your mind already. Plus, you should never let any friend pressure you into doing anything you "rather" not do.....

BTW, I thought it was pretty cool that when I was driving around Porland and Beaverton area this weekend, I saw a total of 6 different 350Zs, 3 G35C, and ZERO CLs. Nice and rare alright!!

Plus, that way I would still be the only guy with the TL-kit + M5 Lip in the NW. ... j/k

p.s. I would put 10K into this car because I like it!

 

my friends aren't really pressuring me. they're just giving me some ideas. i've thought about hooking up the cls for awhile now. i just need alittle push to get me to spend money on it. my mind hasn't been made up yet, i'm still contomplating. i actually saw your car drive by afew weeks ago (cls2001_97214) and it look hot. that's why i need everyones opinion.

I think that everybody and their mamas will have a 350z. I hate that. Something is taken away from the car when there are so many of them out there. Sure it is a nice car, But I will never jump on that bandwagon because of this. People still ask me "WOW, what is that"? (My CL).
Like everybody else, I think you are leaning towards the Z. Your choice and remember, it's what makes you happy not what makes our buddies proud. Good luck and what ever happens we will still be your friend. Peace
