X2 on digging that KBP. Not sure how it would look on a stock CLS but it looks good here. I've always been a fan of that and ABP since they aren't seen on the road as often. Glad to hear you're keeping the CL Rndog, looking forward to slapping my kit on in a couple months when it warms up.

For you people that are/was supercharged have you tried using the aem fic for tuning? I bought one for my car and my friend is very familiar with it so I trust him when it comes to tuning my car. He said they're shouldn't be any problems tuning it, I will only have nitrous on my car and that adds it's own fuel when spraying so I'm sure it's a little different with a n/a setup.
Just stay with 3 lbs.
Leaning toward a more mature Anthracite Metallic with a lot of flake in the gloss clear coat.
On a sidenote, just drove the kids to school, on the way back, the car was pulling real hard for NA, I'm amazed. I missed that VTEC growl.
Yesterday I noticed some oil on the floor of my garage, checked under the car and saw a leak. I took it to my mechanic with some notes printed out about the rear main seal, etc. He told me it was trans fluid, turns out he over filled it and it seeped through. We drained it and checked this morning, no leak. Feel like I won the lotto, lol.

Many have tried. Few have succeeded. Members say its possible, yada yada, but so far I've seen 3-4 people who have tried and wasn't able to get the FIC working with a CL. Works better on Accords but not the Acura ECU. If it's so possible I think we'd have more success with it.
if i had to do it all over again i would stick with 3lbs instead of wasting all that money trying to tune the 6lbs.

I'm really feeling you on whole leather thing. I say to myself on a regular basis how much I hate that shiny ass leather. The steering wheel AND the seats really bother me. I love to seen a clean matte finish leather!! Looks like we were thinking the same thing about the French stitch, bold stitch, whatever you want to call it. I'd be real interested in details of how/where/price of it when you get it done.

Car has been acting pretty smooth, so a few more days of this and a few more funds added to the car budget and I think that will be in my horizon.

Waste is not the word. But at least you learned this on the CL and not on the NSX, stick to safe mods on this car, I've always been eyeing the NSX, but I might have to wait until the kids finish college. Can't wait to see how you start to mod yours, congrats!

Decided to keep the CL part II.
Cliffs, blew cylinder 5, and needed a swap.
Decided to keep her after looking around and not finding anything that great.
Gonna de-kit her, drop her just a tad lower, and bring the boost back to 3 lbs without a tune.

Other details are:
- Slightly bluish tinted headlight film to preserve the polsihed lense.
- removing the spoiler from the trunk, maybe add a lip spoiler.
- lower her a little more on H&R springs.
- Reupholster the two front seats with BMW Leatherette for a matte finish that won't get as worn out over time.
- Some cleaned up muffler tips.
- All new color paintjob, was leaning toward an Anthracite metallic with alot of flake.

I am really glad now I never bought the s/c. This car can make close to 300hp to wheels with just bolt ons. That is enough for me, especially with weight reduction.
I love my aftermarket seat. Id say look into that but getting brackets made might be too much of a pain. If you use rear seat for kids you might need oem seat for slide feature tho.

Not sure why your fueling was messed up, but remember, you told me that you were running that 8psi pulley for a few days. I think that had a lot to do with killing two of your cylinders.

It supposed to be 6psi i measured the pulley and i have no idea why it would show 8psi. It was like 2-3 pulls thats all i dont think that would be case but you might be right. Thats when my problem started. I had imrc disconnected at the time.

One pull is enough to destroy an engine if it isnt tuned properly.

I still have the Blower, but its in a box, think I'm gonna have to sell it before I change my mind, lol. But the one thing I noticed that I like a lot more without the blower is that the power is more smooth and doesn't feel like your tearing the car apart. With the blower, it feels like you have to sorta back off the throttle the higher you go with the rpms.

Meanwhile...back on the "show" side of the conversation. I sat in a new TSX today while checking up on some parts, the damn leather armrest in it was so buttery...so supple, yet so...NON shiny and new. Smelled like an Acura leather interior should too.

but if one didnt wanna go that route all that id think would need to be done is clamp all the sensors that report back to the ecu to have a range but report ranges closer to ideal and let the computer write maps accordingly
its more or less what were doing when we reloacate the IAT sensor ... change the Tstat and fan switch we are just feeding the computer more favorable data ... so ...take out the knock sonsor and wrap it in insulating material and replace now less knock count use a spark plug anti fouler and take the 02 sensor out of the direct path of the exhaust computer leans the mix some ... the map sensor clamp that the comp kit is doing something similar ...

Just some of the normal cabin stuff on the dash cluster. He didn't say it was guaranteed, just that it was possible. He had just tuned an S2000 on the EMS and said it went seamless but with the CL who knows?
Hilarious. Acura has definitely let me down. They haven't made a decent car since the last TL-S.
At idle I'm between 14.7-15. At WOT I'm at around 10.5 at around 5k rpms and near redline at 11.2-11.5

Don't sk me why, but I am falling in love with this car again.
Got the car in the garage and I'm cleaning the interior from that shop smell. You know, that nasty burly smell of having the car in the shop for days with the windows open.
Took the tint off the taillights too, I really appreciate the reverse lights now, I can actually see the curb now in my side views, lol.

What size wheels you aiming to get? 18" front, 19" rear looks insane on the NSX with a moderate drop.

Ron, glad you're enjoying the CL so much. It's such a fun car to drive. I think that's why so many people waited so long before they moved on to something else, or still have their CL.

It's Picture TIME!!
Here's one I test drove, it was pretty basic, but it was a 91, and thats a little too old for me. My CL pulled harder with the blower, but the handling was incredible, and the sound it made was intoxicating, like a sinister growl. I can definitely see myself in a 2002-2005 in a few years, thats the old car I would want if I had the funds dedicated to a car.
And here are some pics of the heart transplant. I have more pics of the car as it is now, and I'll be shooting the parts as they come in.
And I was debating on the following wheels, what do you guys think?
