Decals?
Hi all, does anybody know the best way to remove a decal? I have 2 Type S decals just before my rear wheels & I want to remove them but I am worried about paint fade. The car is black & any help would really be appreciated.

just take your time and use lots of goo gone.. or something of that effect.. make sure its got enough power to remove the crap but to not hurt your paint make sure you throw a lot of wax over it when your done also

I took a dealer decal off my Tbird with a hair dryer & then used gas to remove the glue, then waxed the crap out of it and it turned out OK but these decals are much bigger.
Thanks for your suggestions.

If you warm it up with a hair dryer it will make the adhesive softer and easier to come off. I would not use solvents to remove the adhesive. Ude Goo-gone, it's safer for the paint.

They are actual Type S emlbems I think but I went to the Acura dealer and they all said they are the biggest ones they have ever seen. They look like big stickers, I don't know if they originally came on the car or not, I bought the car last week & wanted to wait & see what people thought & they are all saying take them off.
I'll get some pics.

Then use the hairdryer and dental floss method.
Head the area a little with the hair dryer to get the doublestick tape soft.
Pull a piece of dental floss behind the emblem to pull it away from the paint. Clean up the left over tape with GooGone.
