Dealer is removing my rear window

Alot of people have compained about a rattle near the rear deck or headliner of the CL. My noise in particular is a "ticking" sort of noise that occurs at any speed while going over bumps in the road. I had my CL at the dealer for the second time to fix the noise; the result this time is that the seal for the back window is flawed and a new seal needs to be installed. This envolves removing the rear window and installing a new seal. According to my dealer this is not the first time they have done this, and that doing this solves the problem. I am getting it done this week, and I will post again if it fixes the noise. Dealer is going to give me a RSX loaner for a day....not bad?!?

Sierra blows. Didn't people over at acuramdx.org sue them for bad service?

Is the sound you hear a kinda "CLANK" sound when you go over something like a railroad crossing or speed bump?

Cuz I hear a "clank" sound that sounds like it's coming from somewhere in the rear when I go over stuff like that. I just assumed it was the jack or something loose in the trunk.

It sounds more like it's up by the rear window than down in the trunk though.

My dealer is Acura 101 West (Calabasas). They are pretty good so far when it comes to service. They don't seem to B.S. you when it comes to fixing things like other dealer's service I've had done in the past. They are supposed to be some sort of 5 star Acura dealer...what ever that means. If it fixes my rattle, I am a happy customer.
BTW it's a rear window not a tranny....I would be more worried out replacing a tranny than taking out and reinstalling a rear window. If something happens wrong it will either be bad radio reception, no defrost, or a leak....those can be fixed easily.
