My car and my dads are both Rick Case cars...We have done a lot of service with them, and they do have the best prices, however Phil Smith on Federal in Pompano is pretty good as well.
I do a lot of the work myself, but my dad brings his to Phil Smith for almost everything, including when his trans went.

and btw, its only 389 with the coupon.

hmm. We've never had any issues with them. Word of advice though, do NOT go to Delray acura. They are the most absurdly overpriced dealership anywhere for service. Their parts are decently priced, but service is ridiculous.

What tuner shop are you thinking about?

The only time my cars see the dealership is when I receive a recall by mail.

Me too. But my dads has had some problems, so he had to bring it in more frequently.

The people who are quick to blame life's ills on a dealership have probably never worked at one.

I have at least 50 examples of customers lying about something. There are some bad dealerships out there but probably fewer on a percentage basis than independent shops.
easy for those 50 examples also, like hey the key just keeps turning in the ignition switch, yeah it was already there, noticed it when i first got in the car, and only time we touched it was to turn the key to start the car and such

but also there are quite a few independents shop out there that are a WHOLE lot better then any dealer would ever be

they can decline work for any reason it is a business after all, not a good reason though, since nothing is related to the t/belt itself, but still valid though for declining the work

if it was warranty work it might be a little different with Honda paying, but even then you just found another dealer then, with Honda needing to honor the warranty and such

but sometimes you can't guarantee the reliability of the part itself, so easier to just say no warranty, even on labor, instead of trying to split a hair
