Dealer is on crack...

I went into his office and there were two white lines on the table, looked like sugar or salt.

Then I looked closer and his face was white, looked like scarface

Oh yeah, he also told me that it'd be $320 for front and another $320 for the rear schocks, just for labor.

Other things he said:

$200 for IceBox Install
$380 for Header Install

you should just renegotiate. "OK how about you install it for free, and I wont call the PO PO on your ass!"

And throw in a supercharger with the HBP while you're at it.

it was a joke.

I thought he was on crack when he told me it'd cost $640 for just labor to install the springs and almost $400 for the header.

What do these guys make, $200 an hour?

He said the only thing that would be voided on my warranty if I got the CT header would be anything that has to do with emissions.

I think he was being facetious......trying to make a point about the expensive shock install.

he is still on crack

the install quote is way too high

and the warranty issue is BS. so if your check engine comes on and it turns out to be a faulty EGR valve that is going to void your warranty?

dealerships have to prove your parts caused the problem otherwise they HAVE to honor it under warranty

I think he was talking about if I fail the emissions testing, or maybe not...

"Yes we do install aftermarket exhaust parts, but we are not responsible if
they don't fit properly after the install. I highly recommend Comptech for
all your exhaust sys. needs. yes it would void the warranty on any emissions
related problems. but you would still have warranty coverage on the rest of
the vehicle. The cost for labor to install headers would be $380.00."

The Comptech headers are CARB approved, not going to void anything. Guy is a friggin lunatic.
