Dead Battery

Woke up this morning and low and behold my cls battery is dead. All i get are the clicks and am positive nothing was left on. I am going to try and jump her and then when she cant hold a charge get a new battery. Any suggestions on what battery i should get and where i should get it at? Probably need to get it this afternoon or night... Appreciate anyones help!

Since you have a system in your car I would say get an Optima Yellow or Red.

get an optima yellow top and a cap....you sure its the battery and not the starter? Usually the clicks means its the starter.

Odyssey. I had an Optima yellow and it only lasted 14 months. I also had a red top in my 300zx that lasted 3 years before I replaced.

clicks are the solinoid in the starter from too little voltage. hearing the clicks means nothing. your battery is more than likely shot. a dry or dead cell will often show itself at random even if the car functioned perfectly the day before.

Yeah, got the clicks this weekend too, although I was tailgating at the Eagles game and inadvertantly left the A/C on while the radio was entertaining us. Didn't go completely dead (radio still had power, but wouldn't play) and my presets were still on.

Took a quick charge and has been fine...just my stupidity!

When my battery died, most of my accessories worked for a while. There just wasn't enough power to start the engine. Horn and lights worked.

Clicking means dead battery...I can't count how many I've been through. WalMart brand kicks ass!
