omfg you wouldnt believe what i did on the weekend :

friday i left work at 430, went home, washed car, and packed up for the trip to laguna.
about 10 cars met up at a house in fremont at 8pm. but we didnt leave there until 11pm
so we are on our way there, 2 hour drive, with about 10-12 cars in a line, all with little handheld radios talking back and forth to each other. we arrive at our hotel in salinas at about 1am. i'm staying with a two other people in my room. we are all starved, so we goto dennys at 2am-330am. eat, then come back to the hotel, and fall asleep at 4am. but the hard this was that we had to be AT laguna (5 minutes away) at 730-8AM. so i set my alarm clock for 6 am so that i could shower and stuff. i got TWO HOURS of sleep!!!! aaaaahhhhh so we all get ready , and head out to laguna. we are all special, and have VIP seating and VIP parking (yeah i can hear you now so be quite) tee hee =) so our group meets up right next to the track and park. there is about 35-40 cars in our group, but there are a bunch of other groups too.

we start to clean the dirt off our cars to make them look all purdy because it was also a mini-carshow for us too.
well the track is sick as hell,(if you know laguna seca raceway) it goes around a few mountains because it's a twistie course. it wasnt Nascar, but very very suped up import/le mans cars. they were moving so damn fast.

so after a few hours at around noon, we get a special thing between races to drive on the track in a parade lap. we thought it would be a slow lap around the track behind a pace car. but NO they let us go around TWICE VERY VERY FAST. OMFG if you know the track you'd shit your pants!!! i had a friend ride along in my car and he video taped the whole thing!!! the corkscrew is a section that goes downhill but in an S shape, and at the bottom, i got a little sideways because i had so much shit in my truck that the weigh shifted and made me look traction. but there were about 100 cars all in a line going on the track. we went slow at a few points, but then spaced out more to go faster on the big turns. it was soooooooo fregging awesome. the best time of my life in my car =) i got hella pics from inside my car while on the track, plus the video footage. i'll have to show you the pics when i get them developed.

well we stayed at laguna till about 5pm, got back to the bay area at 7pm, went to dinner at the elephant bar, then a few of us went to a house and played Gran Turismo 3 (racing game) till 2AM OMFG we were so dead tired off two hours of sleep, and we were still up that late!!! well i got home at 3am, went to bed and woke up at 3 in the afternoon. 12 hours of sleep, and my eyes were STILL black and i was still dead tired.
then i showered, and played more GT3 at that guys house in fremont till midnight, came home dead tired again, slept, and now i'm here at work
