Damn Cool weather wakes up the CLS!

I know what you guys mean now when cooler weather sets in. My car was just so so so fast this morning. It was 60 degrees this morning, with under 50% humidity. A rare site in South FL. I never had my car in weather like this with the mods I have. Too bad it's only going to last 1 more day, then it's back to 80's, & high humidity

Yeah it does feel better! I had the privilege of seeing/hearing my car in action last night and boy did it look and sound good! I was in my Fiancee's accord and she was in my TLS. Well we punched it from a roll and I could hear the roar as she pulled away with authority. I could hear the icebox but it wasn't nearly as loud as Bulldog's when he mashes it. I like the sound of the icebox better, more subdued.

I am in montreal, canada and have a cls6.

in the winter it is always under 32... can get as low as -10.

The car is a bit faster but I'm stuck with the winter tires under it

I have a heated garage so at least, the car is not too cold. But I know I should wait for it to warm up to nail the throttle... but I often lack this discipline.
like the break-in period... i think mine lasted 25 miles...

Bad idea. You're risking piston rings, pistons, head, block, everything. Nailing it when cold introduces too much heat too soon and the metal (which the engine is made out of) doesn't like that too much. That's what causes hairline cracks, and eventually it'll start leaking and burning oil. Then you will come on this forum and complain about it... at which point, I'll just point and laugh, saying "told ya".

Let it warm up.
