Dallas Area Timing Belt mechanics?
Anyone have a good mechanic to replace my timing belt? I hit 90k and would love to have it replaced, but my local dealer in Plano wants over $900 to do it.
Seems a bit steep.
I'm in the Dallas Area, near Plano and Garland, but will drive all the way to Fort Worth to get a good deal.

the only place i've been to was All Makes up in Lewisville. they did some good work on my old prelude (replaced cv joint, valve adjustment). the prices were reasonable. give them a call.

ha, my cl has 94000 miles on it, I am not worried about the timing belt yet. But as for my 2000 TL, it has 130,000 on the original timing belt and its still running strong.

'08 MX5 GT 6spd.
Ive gone to several places getting qouted $900 (+/-). Believe it or not Vandergriff charges $700-$800 or so, which is cheaper.....CHEAPER than most places i've been quoted.
