Dad trading the old Dodge in
we got a 1994 Dodge Dakota 4x4 extended cab SLT with 5.2 v-8(318) pretty well loaded. dad said he's had it with American trucks/cars. So he's gonna trade it on a late mode(97 or newer) Tacoma V-6 4X4 and slap on a Supercharger(grinning)
. Not like i'm pushing it
. they told us with a Supercharger and no pipe or air filter or anything else modded we should crank 235-240 hp out of a little 4x4 v-6 pickup pretty good. and still get 19 mpg. the best our dodge did was 16(and that was not taking off hard or pulling anything)

we don't know yet cause #1 we haven't found the "perfect truck" cause Toyota didn't make a lot of 4x4 v-6 automatics. most of them we're 4x4 4 bangers.so once we find one we like(which saturday morning/afternoon i'm suppose to go with him to check em out) I guess i gotta go cause i drive it on fire runs in case we has something out in a muddy field on fire we can get out to it in good time.(cause i'm a firefighter)once in while i'll just drive the truck to drive it. but dad will drive it 85-90% of the time. What i was hopeing to get but they're hard to come by is a 99 or 00 Tundra 4X4 regular cab. but most of em are cab and half. dad said he doesn't have enough cash right now to go for a cab and half 4x4 tundra. he said maybe if we get a good deal on a regular cab we can get one.
