Was experimenting with D4 around town when some idiot in a POS truck starts to come down on me from the lane to my right. I'm like right next to him and he obviously doesn't see me. At the time I think I was doing maybe 10-15 mph. I floored it and it seemed like forever before I get the downshift and started to pull. Fortunately, I just made it and avoided getting my baby lunched. But it seemed like the downshift in D4 came slower than I'm accomsted to getting in D5. The manual doesn't say anything except that D4 keeps you from going back and forth between 4th and 5th, but I was going too slow for that to matter. Was it my imagination or do you not pull from a rolling start as fast in D4?
