Please help me. I bought a conversion kit from Kensun.com and cannot figure it out. I did conversion kits on both my 04 accord and my 2013 civic. Awesome. I have a 2001 acura cl. The fuse on drivers side keeps blowing. Short in ballast. Instead of replacing ballast I found it to be much cheaper to replace my low beam bulb d2r with an 8000k HID bulb n ballast kit. All went well till I got to the d2r ignitor and it had a low beam wire (red), high beam wire (white), and ground (black) I did not hook up white because it is a low beam so I just taped it off. Hook all up and ....... Wait for it... NOTHING! Uggghh! Please help. Do I need the relay for an acura cl? It's a 35w ballast.

 

I found out the issue. The factory ballast needs to be cut then wired to the red n white wire on the cut off ignition plug. Then plug those 3 power wires into aftermarket ballast power supply. Took me hours to figure it out. Hope this help .
