Anyone try cutting the sunroof visor? I don't what it to cover so much of the opening so I thought I might trim it to 1/2 it's current width or so. \
Where can I have it cut, maybe a windshield glass place?

 

Why don't you remove it? I took mine off and it was very easy. I do have a Acura wind deflector, not sure what it would be like without it.

 

I did take it off, but I like the way it blocks the wind and noise into the cabin at high speed and I'm assuming it will still do that at half the size so I have a bigger opening. Just wondering about it. My legend sunroof had a bigger built-in deflector than the CL does.

 

its a bitch that it covers half, but then again the glass doesnt go back all the way. if you wanna remove it, remove it, dont cut it. personally i would keep it cause the sun gets hot on your skin and i like to close it sometimes.

Yea. I'm gonna take mine off again for good. I might also just tint the moonroof darker too. It gets very sunny and hot here.

I am thinking that you guys are talking about the "shade" that you can slide over the sunroof to block the sun? How do you take it off? I use it in the winter since it warms the car up faster but that is about the only time I close it.

 

No, the outside add-on sunroof visor. It blocks half the view but keeps wind noise down pretty well.
