Currently working on a full Bodykit for the CL, (updated on pg.5)

I think the kit looks hot but I wold prefer a more low profile kit, something a bit more simple in between a sema kit and a modified tl kit. But thats my own opinoin keep p the good work I'm glad somebody is making a kit that looks good on our cars.

very hot......looks much closer to the sema kit than the first sketch.....give it sum more time, it will only look more and more like the sema kit.......
just kidding, but am i the only one that thinks its starting to resemble the sema kit?
imo, just kinda copy the sema front but not exact copy and come up with your own design for the sides and rear, the front just cant get any better than the sema kit

Rondog this is Lou why not make a front lip spoiler since it already has holes for adapting one. It will be easier to design and cheaper to make and easier to ship, also it will make it easier to afford. I know this forum pretty well and if the duplicate sema kit was difficult to sell yours would be nearly impossible. I am just trying to save you in investing all your money and not be able to sell. IMO

just to let you doubters believe, the lip kit costs more to manufacter the molds, than a whole bumper. even tho the actual pieces cost less. bumper to me is more of a clean look without the added lines aand seams. Once again, i am not going to do the sema kit exactly, but may use certain characteristics. thanks for the support, After all, i am most concerned with the members of this board being satisfied with the final product. Hopefully the sales will be able to support the cause. peace

sick rondog, i like teh first one bc its the craziest. but the last one will probably sell much better.
know what sucks? once you finish this kit, you gotta throw out your versus and put this on. hehe
and for those that want just a lip, stop being pussies, get the whole damn thang

well, i have alot instore for the acura line in terms of kits and wheels, and was explorin ghte idea of headlight housings that are more tasteful and advanced than altezza light housings. but anyway the kit cost more to develop if it is an add on and it comes out more less acurate. there is alot of work to be done before I can actually price anything, right now I only have a general scheduale in terms of building it, but once again it will be competitive and I will concern my self with providing a quality product rather than making sales. I believe sales will come when quaity and styling are a priority. They will be priced similar to how my wheels are priced, just enough to maintain the company production and keep me doing business. I have plenty of other freelance jobs that i rely on and this is more or less a hobby turned reality. I am tryiong to find a manufacterer who builds eurethane, but the pricing is so expensive per piece even though the development is even with fibre glass. it's a matter of materials. I was also introduced to a material that is between fibre glass and urethane in regards to durability and strength, may take that route. I'll keep you posted.

Great job!
Is this just another mock up? or are you leaning more towards implementing this design?

rondog: first id like to say that your work is amazing...ur amazing at photoshopped and have put together some very nice kits. so my question is, are you planning anything for the 2nd gen TL (02-03). i know we have the factory kit...but maybe a front bumper replacement to use w/ acura sideskirts and a nice rear piece--something like the WW with the exhaust cutouts. the 99-01 TLs have the option of gettin the blaze or value sports kits....maybe something along those lines for the 2002-03 TLs...did you have any plans for a TL kit? thanks a lot

seriously, i don't even know what it is going to cost me per piece. All the manufacterers won't do eurethane, only carbon fiber and fiber glass. they complained about the repairs and how eurethane has waves and such. but I am going to see their work next month when I visit them and have a conference. I do know this is going to be a six figure investment when it happens, and i also know i will make the kits as competitive as possible, so they will be the same cost as what is out there, maybe a little more affordable since I am doing alot of the work myself and not hiring teams to come up ,with the designs and all. either way, quality is a main priority, and customer satisfaction.

rondog: ACK...love the way how that front looks (version 3)! If it's eurethane, you've got yourself a buyer.
Now, who um...wants to buy a Versus kit from me?

ey, Ron, great work. I've been looking to get a kit (slightly scratched front and slightly dented rear bumpers)... and I might just hold out until you get this thing on the road =)
Just a suggestion, I know you're trying to keep the CL from looking like an old car (which it's starting to do), but keep it classy while you're at it. Your drafts are inching toward more and more classy... keep that shit up man.
Good going.

I'm continuously working on it until it is PERFECT!! it's so much fun, over time it just transforms itself and when i think it's ready, it just gets better. here's the latest one and from everyone's responces, seems like this is going to happen. I spoke to Purestyling briefly and I am going to try to make every effort to make this happen even if it means giving them partial distribution control. as long as the kit is under the RonJon name brand and we get a shitload of them, we can get this done. We'll just see when i meet with them. I wouldn't even mind advertising that it is built by PureStyling. this is going to be great, i can't wait to get this off the ground. i just hope everybody doesn't trade in their CL's.

These kits look freakin awesome man, and the quality of the photoshops are clean as hell. do you think you could modify the last one (clkit6) to not have the brake ducts, shrink down the fog light openings, and remove the splitters in them? haha... i know it will be really close looking to stock, but a stock looking kit is what i've been looking for for a long ass time. i just never felt the front of our cars looked meaty/agressive enough.
