Guys, I am going back and fort on this one. Schould I get a set of Comptech Headers or put a system in my CL-S6??? I want the power and summer is here and windows are down. Damn I am just torn on what I want to do!! Power vs Bass............what would you do??

The CLS is my first car that hasn't had an ear blowing system in it and I don't miss it one bit. A system can be a money pit, because most likely you will want to continusly upgrade it.

Possible damage to hearing
loss of storage space
extra weight
Any decent system will cost more than headers

 

you cant compare these 2 in a similar way. They both can do numerous things. for example.

bass--->can get you a ticket for noise polution, loss of hearing, sounds good, adds weight to the car, cant hear an ambulance going by in fear of getting into an accident etc.

headers--->sound good, perform good, makes you romp the pedal a little more, can make you a more aggressive driver causing risk to people around you just cause you have a little oomf now, voids that part of the warranty, etc.

sure im looking into it way too much, but im just showing the good vs. bad.

i dont think it will voids you rwarranty, unless they can prove the modification caused the problem your having.

then a system will shake thing loose and that would void your warranty for squeaks and creaks??

I am wondering how much of a difference will the headers be in a 6-speed than in the auto? Oh damnnnnnnnnnnn I can not friggen wait!!!! I will hate you guys even more if I get the CT SC

I here mixed rviews abot megan headers, tell me your general knowledge and experieces with these, i also heard sum disturbing rumors about alphawerks headers, so share the knowledge about that too, i also have noticed that no one talks about more than the average bolt ons, do they make aftermarket mods for th 3.2 type-s like intake manifold, exhaust manifold, throttle body,etc. if so please let me kno about it and where to find these products, also is there any other SC for our cars besides comtech......thanx

im one of the few here, but id say system. CL has enough power as it is. system is one of the first mods on my list. you gotta be rolling around 'YO' pumpin the beats, cmon now.

 

OBX or Alphawerks headers and the rest on the system
