I noticed that my front suspension has developed an annoying creaking sound. When the car is parked and I test the struts by bouncing the front fender up and down you can distinctly hear the creaking sound. Any thoughts on what is rubbing?
Previous owner installed the following equipment 40K miles ago:
• Adjustable control arms
• KYB Excel-G struts
• Tein Springs (1.5" lower)

IMHO, when it comes to trying to diagnose / find annoying 'creaks' in the suspension, one just has to 'get in there' and check / evaluate each suspension component.
Visually check for leaks / wear or loose connections, since the previous owner or their mechanic did the work who knows how well of a job was done.
