Crazy question

does anyone know how much a 1.8t engine for a Jetta costs? My roommate was thinking about doing an engine swap, but kind of wanted to know some prices, i know this isnt a VW site, but i thought some of you may have an idea.....thanks

I can get you one for $2500 with exchange... for a stick-shift... no tranny though. The motor IS different between the sticks and the auto's. It's got 25K miles on it.. 1.8T
