I have a 2001 Honda Accord Ex Sedan. It is a black color called metaliac something. I bought the car brand new and after 3 months of owning the car the paint started having dots all over it. After fighting with the dealer for 3 months there were parts that had paint completely missing. All together there were 32 dots on the car no larger than your fingertip. When honda reps looked at it they told me it was from bird droppings and it was my fault. I told them that the car is constantly clean and that paint specialist told me it was cracking from under the primer up. I wound up fighting with them for over a year. Finally they repainted parts of it and said it was out of goodwill. Only thing is, I am afraid of it coming back. Has anyone had any similar problems or know of any steps to take. I don't beleive an aftermarket paint job is as good as a factory paint.
