Cracking Driver Leather seats???

I just bought a used 01 CLS with 35k on the dial. The drivers seat leather is cracked along the left side that comes up near your back. I was wondering if the warranty covers that. I wouldn't think leather would crack only after that long. seems odd to me. Besides that I can't see anything else wrong with it. Thanks guys.

take it to the dealer, if you have cracks they will do a "one time goodwill" exchange of the cracked portions. Not all dealers will honor this, so you gotta shop around. I'm in the same boat as you, but the dealer said my cracks weren't as serious, so he told me to come back a bit later and he would exchange it. Hope this helps.:P

I've never been to Pohanka, but they are supposed to be pretty good-

I go to Tischer in Laurel, MD. Brandon is my service advisor, and they do a great job for warranty work-

I recommend Tischer as well. Lenny's approach towards customer service made me switch permanently from Frankel (and you don't need to schedule stuff 2 weeks in advance for a loaner).

I just had a nice initial experience with Chevy Chase Acura service, I hope it works out. They have a new service manager that just came on board and he seems eager to help folks. His name is Rick.

I got my brakes changed (new rotors for free) at Acura West in Ellicott City. Asked them about seat wear and steering wheel...they are giving me a cold shoulder on that....told me that I have to come by when Factory rep will be there....so he could take a look at it.

I've delt w/ him many times...he's a good guy. He's been there for a little while and I always ask for him when I've gone for service.
