Covered new headlight with Xpel

My driver headlight started taking in moisture (no, I never modded it) and since the new headlight the dealer installed was so clean I decided to get headlight protector film. It's clear film similar to clear bra but much thicker. Hopefully will protect agtainst rocks and breakage. can barely tell it's on there. Kit came with precut roadlamp pieces too but I haven't put those on yet.

I had that on my 02. It didn't go on right for me on 1 headlight & looked bad. I took it off after a month.

I had a little trouble with one film but by the second one I figured it out a little better. They look pretty good, actually can hardly tell the film is on there.

Good work! Acutally have the whole XPel film for the front, sides, mirrors, headlights, trunk guard, and door handles. Saved my car more than a few times.

You can see where the film starts and ends, look closely. Sorry, no pictures of the door handles, but basically, it sits inside the handle so your girl's (or guy's) nails don't go scratching the paint when they open the door. My installer was pretty creative, he also (below) installed a trunk guard to prevent any scratches should I drop something while placing/removing something from the trunk.

The film is nearly invisible to the naked eye, you really have to look to see it. I notice it everyday, but no one else will be able to. Interestingly, this stuff is really really strong, I tried to put a nail and a pair of scissors through the film to no avail. Also, it lets your paint faid with the rest of the car so it doesn't look jacked up when you have to take it off (5 year life).
