Coupon for PAA Service
Coupon for PAA Service
Guys, I have a $1000 service at PAA and I'm wondering if anyone has a coupon I could use. I remember getting service coupons from dealers after taking my car in for other reasons and this is my first time at PAA.
Anyone?
Thanks

elliot,
Here's my setup and I paid
Rotora slotted front and rear rotors - $300
Goodridge SS brake lines - $150
Satisfied Pro Ceramic pads - $100
Install - $300
PM me and I'll give you the name of the guy I use. He's in Cranford and he did a great job.
$1000 for crappy Acura rotors and pads is no deal.

NSXNEXT,
Perhaps I'll PM you and get this guy's name for next time. Truth is I am a bit naive when it comes to cars (I hate admitting this here) and I have a loaner car which I need to get to/from work for a day or two, and I'm leaving town for a short vacation this weekend, and so after discussing with my Dad, I decided to just get it done.
My Dad could not believe it when I told him $1100, but as we both finally concluded, brakes are important. Whether they're $200, $1100, or $5000, they needed to be replaced and whatever the cost, my safety/life is more important than a "measley" $1100.
Yeah, so someone at PAA will make a pretty penny on me (labor itself is $95/hr) but I'm more important than that. I'm the first to ask for a coupon (obviously) or try to find a better way out, but I trust these mechanics after reading this board for almost three years and if that's the cost to make me feel better, then so be it.
I have plenty of money in the bank $1000 isn't going to kill me. But not having brakes may.

You guys rock. Thanks for the suggestions.

$1000 is not a lot of money but wasting it on shitty OEM brake components is. If you can sit tight for a little bit you can get a sweet brake setup that will make your car's stopping power tremendous.
Check your PM.

I hope you are not getting stock rotors and pads, they are horrible and warp quickly.

but again, the choice is yours, you paid a lot of money, they made you feel special, so you have a right to be happy

$1000 is not chump change, but I have it. And I'm not sure if they make me feel special, but I guess I'll feel safe when driving this weekend with my fiancee and next weekend for a friends wedding back in Baltimore.
Next time I'll know -- thanks.

Because the car was already there and I need it because I'm leaving to go away this weekend, and I don't have another car. Live and learn, ya know?
$1100 for brakes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That money tree in the back yard must be nice to have. I'm shocked a place like PAA would rip off a customer like that. Damn dude. I'm sure you could have waited a few more days, still drive safe & had time to research it. God that's hard to hear!
