shawn, after my tranny died i was looking for a new/used car.

on my list where
330 - every other kid on the corner has this
new s4 wait was too long
G35 - didnt' like it , even though it drove very well . plus I would of gotten bored of it in like 1 year
Z-same as feeling as the G35
E46 m3- the engine problems pushed me away from it
CLK430- wasn't feeling it after seeing it in person
E500- loved the car but just wasn't sporty enuff
1999~2000 911 996 c2 and c4 - the interior had nothing. really it had nothing.
boxter-S - couldn't find a tiptronic w/ navi
6 speed 540-was very close to getting it but saw my 740 next to it
tsx- wasn't rwd

the 740iL wasn't even on my shopping list but after i was kinda pressured into driving it I abso fucken lootly loved it. Plus my uncle had black 740iL sport and had to sell it after 6 months cuz he couldn't afford it . but while it lasted it was very PIMP.

the 7 was always one of my dream cars but never thought it was with in reach.
Handling- hard to belive but this car out handles my modded cl-s in everyway - turning radius YES IT CAN BUST U turns where my typeS couldn't.
Power- my typeS is faster to 0~60 but after triple digits this baby flys
Pimp factor- the treatment/respect I get is totally different. I've started my own consulting company on the side and I kinda wanted a more serious image when meeting w/ clients.
Everyone recognizes the car including all my dad's friends and other old folks girls' parents blah blah. I've also had alot of people just randomly talking to me about the car.
Plus I wanted a car that no one else had - atleast between my friends/enemies.

Also it seems like this car attracts less cops on the road.

Oh and best of all I get totally diff VIP treatment @ the clubs that i've been going to for the past couple years like im a diff person. Its a great road trip car to take w/ my boys and also on the weekends when I roll to DC.

The licence plate STPH8NG says stop hating,to shut up all those haters that I have/had in the past that had doubts about me making it since I was a fuck up in highskool.

On the negative side - this car drinks gas like no other i'm getting around 15mpg, and the navi is totally fucken worthless, the cup holders are just for show, already broke. suprisingly bmw service sux dick. Acura is 5 time better. and the bmw fourms SUck too.

I really wanted the tsx but after test driving a bunch of RWD cars I just couldn't do it. If acura come out w/ a RWD with a 50/50 weight distribution then I'll be the 1st to jump all over it.

my next car will most likely be a RWD luxury sport coupe

crazy- this thing THUMPS loud as shit. almost too loud I've set the EQ to -7 on all the low frequencie and turned the bass down and also the gain down on the amp and it still rocks the car. the bass is the cleanest tightest i've ever heard.

True, but many people buy cars that the demographic shows that YOUNGER people buy, not the other way around.

Case in point:
There’s more 60+ guys driving Corvette’s then there are 20 year olds driving Buick Park Ave’s.

Besides, I’m more the “target buyer” for the CL then many of the members here.

Nice car Nova. Shit I just wanna know what you do for a living, hell at 22 this TL and rent and the avg. Credit card bill of $300 per month (little shit compared to most people) have me gasping for air, but I am saving every other paycheck for a down payment on a house in 1 year....but still...I should have more money. :P

What mods planned for the car so far?

i have 3 jobs

1st.day job which pays me the most is Sr.Security Engineeer @ Symantec Managed security service. basically network security, firewall, ids for banks, utiliity , global 500, and other companies

2nd Phone consulting for investors who want to know about the IT market. (200/hour) may be once every 2 weeks

3rd Havn't taken off yet but my own IT consulting business doing ANYTHING w/ computers.

and also I don't pay rent it was just too much. I went and got a condo and pay about 3/4 of what i paid in rent and get tax benifents.
