Also need to take headers off and paint them with a high heat coating

Update i have finished earlier than expected. I only ran into a couple of problems which i was expecting broke 2 fuel injectors removing them from the lower runner and the TB that I polished had broken piece of plastic where it holds the throttle cable in its spot so i had to swap mine off of my car and onto the new one. I also went a head and did another polish with a rotary tool and a drum sanding bit in the IM only because the first time i did it i didnt do a very good job so i cleaned up my work a lil bit. So now the only thing inhave left to do is the legend brake caliper upgrade probably in the next couple of weeks but i was able to get the hard stuff out of the way for now, i will probably go back later this year and replace the last 3 injectors after taking everything apart this car is surprisingly easy to work on, so here are some pictures i tried to remember to take while doing this

Broken injector 1

Looks a little bit better

The TB installed

Cleaned the egr port

Put the back runner on while waiting for parts to come

Dirty

Most of everything reassembled

Fuck this bolt haha

Still not the best but better than before

Nice!
The broken piece on the TB may be the cruise control cable. Mine broke but instead of a new TB I used some wire to keep it captive. I worry about it but years have gone by.
Im getting ready to have headers and new exhaust installed, cai I’ll do and in the back of my mind have a Ron Jon body kit installed.
What do you know about a bushing kit or like an energy suspension kit? I would have a shop do it which will probably be expensive.

You planning on a turbo or SC?

i bbelieve it was the cruise cable too. Thats cool dude just make sure you use a HIGH heat paint( I like VHT paint)before you jnstall your headers i didnt do that when i did mine and have to take them back out again this will keep heat level down under the hood. And sorry i dont know anything about bushing kits my suspension is stock.

turbo? Nah engine has over 200xxx im just keeping it running and doing simple and subtle mods

I am going to do the legend brake caliper upgrade in the next couple of weeks that will be my next mod

I just searched that. Nice DIY. I had a 2dr 1990 legend 5sp before the CL. My dealer is having a timing belt job special (water pump, tensioner, etc) for like $1700. The car has over 220k miles and I did it once around 110k like 6 years ago. Think it’s time to do it again? I’m trying to prioritize. The Ron Jon kit keeps falling to the bottom of the list.
I ordered some 2003 smoke headlights on the marketplace on here this week and am waiting for them to arrive.

I got around to doing some more work on the CL during the winter months here a few photos from the progress

Tein street advance z coil overs

Rpf1 17x8.5 40mm

bfgoodrich sport comp g2 245/45/17

New valve cover gaskets and intake manifold plenum gasket set

I wasnt happy with the way i painted the valve covers the first time, so i removed all the paint and re did them with VHT wrinkle red it turned out much better. I also spray the intake manifold with VHT silver metalic but it turned out more blue....oh well it dont look bad. Now the snow needs to melt so i can take this thing for a rip its been way to long of a winter here
