Couldn't resist, took the CLs out and almost.....

well, i've tried VERY hard not to even take the CLs out of the garage until mid-May but i honestly couldn't resist. I made up an excuse for myself that I should fill it up and give her a bath at the carwash. It took a couple to get used to her power again, but as i'm going through an intersection near my house it happened.... The jerk did not yield at the stop sign, he rolled right through it and didn't see me. He braked hard as did I, two loud screeches and I felt a hit. I was actually calm, I got out of my car to inspect the damage when to my surprise there wasn't any. The cars' two front bumpers were LITERALLY 4 centimeters apart from each other. Everybody at the intersection thought we hit. I guess the bump I heard was the abs giving its last sigh. I wasn't entirely impressed with the cars emergency braking from 40 to 0, but I guess it's due to the cold weather. The dude in the pos camaro was like frightened himself but didn't even get out of his car. I just gave him a dirty look, got in my car and took off. after i filled up and gave her a bath i took her on Rt 1&9 northbound, express lane, and took her up to about 115 for 6 miles. made a u-turn at Newark, then did the same thing the whole way back! Well, the CLs is sleeping in the garage now, I hope I can hold off for longer next time! sorry for the long post, i had to share!

i was actually thinking before i left my house back home with the cls, how crazy would it be if i wrecked my car due to inexperience of not having driven it for a couple weeks.... i'm lucky nothing happened. i was still shaky about not having driven my car for that short while, boy did i forget how fast she really is!
