Could someone please help me out here!!

Last night I went to the track for the first time in my CL. It was 70 degrees outside and the track was pretty sticky. I made 3 runs. However the best I could do was a 15.33 @ 95mph. With my mods I was at least expecting high 14's. All I did was keep it in D3 and floor it (except off the line where I'd push about half-throttle). Here's some other Info:
1/8: 10 @ 73mph
Reaction: .8996
60 ft: 2.49sec
330ft: 6.667

Also, I checked my Actuator 2 times after the runs and it was working perfectly. Now is there anything wrong here, or am I just over-reacting???? Also Silverbullet was at the track, and he said he runs 15.2's and his engine is stock!!!!!...So I'm kinda thinking there's something wrong with my car........

Try gate shifting next time from D1-D2-D3-D4, but be careful because of the headers the RPMs climb very quickly, and you dont wanna lose momentum ( spelling?) from hitting the rev limiter...Also--You still have stock tires??? Do you have a sub box or any added weight in the trunk??

Yea, I still got stock tires....they are such crap, but I'm going for the Kumho's soon. And I have nothing in the trunk, no subs or anything, I even took the spare out too.

Be a little more aggressive out of the hole as those 60' times are too high. If you can trap 95 or 96 you should hit high 14s.

hey your mph is looking good to me........ but then again I guess I'mm the enemy..... too much low end anyway, you should drop your front tire press. to 25-28 psi & invest in some track bite, soak it all night & spray on b4 you race... that'll help.... just wanted to tell you b4 b4 one of your own jumped down your throat for posting a bad time (seen that happen over here b4)
anyways we were all new once....... even if they can't remember.....

don't feel bad. After i got my headers on the '01 cls my times were very disappointing.

Make sure your tires are nice and cold. Whatever you do don't warm them up in anyway......you'll just make them greasy and slick.

Did you reset your ECU? Some people will tell you that you don't need to but I found out that my car was running TOO LEAN after installing headers.

Without doing any ECU resets. An easy to test is to look at the tailpipe. Clean it so it's shinny and then drive around for a few days. It should get dirty right away. If it doesn't then your running lean, if it does then you're running as you should.

Give it sometime. Take it the track again a few more times and tinker with your setup.

Yea, it was my first time to run at RiverCity Raceway. It just didn't make sense to me that out of 3 runs I can't even break into 14's. Sidemarker, What times are you pulling now with your mods?
