A good price for a header install (just the labor) is about $250+tax.

See this is where i got my $250 estimate from. PAA prices are usually good and thats what i paid for mine when i went there. Can't believe you could get it done somewhere for under $150.

I've done about 4 (both Comptech and OBX) and I charge $150. If I had air-tools and a rack, I'd do it for $100. I think its a rip-off for $250!!

yeah I can't either Chap, but I'm sure the mechanic who would do it for 150$ isn't exactly acura certified, and I bet acura will give you trouble honoring your warranty. I have no warranty worries dealing with Park Ave.

You'll be quite surprised what 'Acura-Qualified' means!

be lucky they even make headers for your car.

only one or two people make headers for the n/a 3000gt.. they want well over 1000 dollars because.. well if you want headers.. who else are you going to go to

yeah and theyre not even a name brand..(the companies, not comptech)

and these companies have no dyno information to show theres enough hp gain to warrant that kind of money.

I sure as hell am not going to pay 1000 dollars for 5-10hp and be able to say headers as part of my mod list.
