Cost to dress up the engine?

I am interested in dressing up the whole engine. Making everything red. How much would something like this cost?

Probably nothing more than high temp primer, high temp engine paint and your time.

Cost is like 20 bucks for engine paint, clear coat and wires and a day of free time. Here is mine:

That looks TIGHT as hell. Could you possibly tell me exactly what you did? How long did it take approximately? I definately want to change the color of all the wires and the top of the engine, among other things. thanks in advance.

They have the anodized engine caps/covers...to give it a little shine under the hood...

I did this with my boy, he has a silver TLS. We both went to Autozone and bought a couple of cans of high temp engine paint. We sand the battery cover, but we didn't sand the engine cover (don't think you need to since it is so smooth). Then we wash them with soap and water. Waited for them to dry and start spraying, one layer at a time. And let them dry between each coating. Should take at least 2 - 3 hours for spraying and let them dry for a couple of hours. The wires cost 5 bucks in R&S strauss. The clear coat, I bought it on another day and took a couple of hours to spray. Pretty much it is a whole days job. I think you wanted to paint it red. Here is a pic of my boy's engine in RED:
