To ComptechMike and everyone posting about OBX headers

first of all

after reading the last few pages here

http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...threadid=79648

i can believe that some guy with the SN ComptechMike has been posing and not representing Mike B @ comptech. i think everyone needs the real facts. This comptechmike has not only made comptech look bad but has made some members on this board to think differently about comptechs integrity.

I think it is safe to say that the ComptechMike is not Mike B @ comptech. ive seen him post sometimes on other honda forums like superhonda.org and i think maybe accordv6.com. his post are very informative and UNBIASED just like the ones he posts on the comptechusa forum.

it would be uncharacteristic for the real mike b to just go off on a tangent; bad mouthing other companies and making senseless points without proof.

I do believe that someone on this board is trying to start something very pointless. it could be someone who despieses comptech or it could be someone who loves obx products.

the bottom line is this.

No one should believe this ComptechMike until he can provide some type of proof that he is mike b @ comptech.

yeah, its very rare to see someone from such a large business bad mouth another business. Very unproffessional...i find it hard to believe someone in his position would do that!

well I checked the IP and it does seem to originate somewhere within the comptech facility....so unless I really suck at checking ip's, someone at comptech was pretty mad.

First, I'm not condoning vendor bashing and…

Do remember -- people are human...

For a minute, forget about the "professional" aspects and swap shoes for a minute. There are some items that just can't be patented and get knocked-off (such is life). Sure, the consumer can benefit. However, it's dog eat dog in your face. If you are the person buying that great "knock-off" or getting some free movies, CDs, whatever, it's OK. (And the rationalizing can get pretty interesting -- hey, I do it... we all do it -- ok?) When you become the inventor or innovator and find your product on display, it's can be a brutal experience.

Of course, in a "perfect world" we would never display any anger...

BTW, there is a "downside" that should be considered (to knock offs): you lose the innovators when they see their "window of opportunity" narrowed. Innovation in design sits on one side of the scale with innovation in mass production and cost cutting on the other.

Well, lets not forget that the consumer is king and to forget that is to get trampled by capitalism and the general competition of business. .... period.

it isnt Mike B.

Mike B has his own account here. Regardless, Mike B is very professional and intelligible. I can't imagine him making any comment that would upset someone...
