Comptech vs Stock Springs (pix)
#5
Looks sweet Samer.... Do you have any pics of the side view showing both the front and rear? I'm really thinking about doing the comptechs with the stock springs but I'm still undecided.
Second question....I see that you have the PIAA 1224s?? Do you have any problems with these?? ie melting of the housing?? I also want to do these but want to make sure I get the right ones.
Thanks

What do the coilovers do?? Are they only used with aftermarket springs?

Ya, I have the Comptech springs on stock shocks. This gave it great looks/handling for not too bad a price. I understand you can spend a ton of money on coilovers, but I hear people swear they are worth it too.
I think you would be pleased with the comptech's, for daily driving it gives a nice look and the ride is great. Lets face it Potholes are never good no mater what your setup is. I say go for the springs and don't look back.

My dealer, Niello Acura put them on and kept the New CL-S 17's and Michelins (crediting for them).
I think they are 18x7.5 and went for $2,300 set. But you can get a set of them not chromed for like 1,750, which may look better on silver.

Okay, now don't kill me when I say it Zainoids, but the current shine you see is Meguiar's Gold Class. It seems to last a long time on and it gives our black that deep shine. IMO, Zaino gives a nice reflective shine though.
