Comptech springs/alignment question

My car is at the Dealer right now getting comptech springs put on. Should i wait for the springs to settle before i get an alignment or go ahead and get it done soon?

well the comptechs don't drop the car that much but u should get an alignment after you drop a car IMO...gives ur suspension a longer life

It's personal preference really...some people did it right away, some after 500 miles so that the springs settled some. I personally did not get one...the car drives straight as an arrow.

I was told that when lowering springs are installed, none of the parts that have to do with alignment are touched..... I'd get it done for the f*ck of it. Whats an extra $30?????

i didnt get an alignment after my comptech spring install, there is really no need for it, honestly, with a drop that conservative, i think its just a ploy for installers to charge you more to get an alignment...my buddy that instaled mine is a mechanic and works at a dealership and after he installed the springs, he put the car on the alignment machine and it needed NOT A SINGLE adjustment....dont waste your money boys, dont bite the hype..comptech drop does not NEED an alignment

oh and another thing...people......a GOOD SPRING WONT SETTLE EVER....i dont get all this talk about springs settling and getting lower after time..if a SPRING is made with the proper care and GOOD quality materials, you could compare 2 springs...one brand new, and one with 150,000 miles on it and there should be NOOO DIFFERENCE...spring settling is a myth, unless comptech springs are cheap and they bend and lose strength after awhile....
