Comptech short shifters for CL?
I saw the TSX and RSX shortshifters Comptech is selling. Are these new? Will this work with 6MT CLS? I wonder if they will offer a TL or CL one?

somehow I don't see Comptech offering any new parts for the CL ... especially after the issues that some have been having with the rusting of the Betts Springs

The Nuespeed one sucks I heard and it's not even a real shortshifter, and its makes the gear box clunkier then it already is. I am just going to change the boot and knob I heard that shortens the height of the stick to where it's just perfect.

I have the nuespeed short shifter and am quite pleased with it. it is true, if you shorten the height of the shifter you will also reduce the "throw" of the shift. that in combination of use of the neuspeed short shifter will dramatically shorten the throw. additionally, don't overtighten the neuspeed SS. just my 2centz

You may want to try this,
On the 98-2002 Accord you can substitute the Prelude shifter assembly for the Accord Assembly which shortens the throws.
Now, I have tons of CL parts on my chassis, 9/10 fo the time the bolts between the CL and Accord match since they are the same chassis.
Now, you are a six speed but that's controled by the tranny and not the shiter. The Accords and Ludes use a cable style shifter with 2 cables. You may want to compare your shifter assembly to that of the Accord of the same year. If they look the same and have bolt patterns that match up you may be able to swap a 98+ Lude shifter assmely into your car, it will basically make the shifter set lower in the console and shortens the throw a tad. The entire lude assemlby is about 80bucks, but it's definately a more factory look then any shift kit.
I had the B&M kit in my 5speed and I removed it, it required modifing the console and I refused.
