Guess I missed that. I always disconnect the battery anyway whenever I'm working on the car.

That's an interesting comment considering that most people get the intake because they want that noise!

The hiss is kinda odd, but you get used to it.

I really wouldn't call it DEBUNKED. You don't know what else is going on that the OBD2 isn't picking up. Scalbert has some excellent data, there might be a correlation but a correlation isn't proof. It just shows a relationship.
