Comptech Exhaust Question

Comptech Exhaust Question
Hey guys... my next project is maybe to get a comptech exhaust, but I have a couple questions that you may help me with.. ( I know that these questions have been probably answered already but I need your help)
1) Is the exhaust worth the money?
2) Will it increase the horsepower?
3) How loud is the exhaust?
3) Does anyone know how big the tips of the exhaust are compared to stock?
Thanks for the help!

Marioman, I put the Comptech exhaust on my car last week after having had the Comptech headers installed a couple weeks before. I am very happy with both of the mods overall.
1) It's a pricey upgrade considering the meager horsepower improvements, but IMHO the vastly improved looks and sound are the reasons to buy it.
2) I think Comptech claims 2-5 HP gains with their exhaust, but I don't think anyone has done a before/after dyno with just the exhaust. It it would be interesting to see nonetheless.
3) It makes a nice "burble" sound when you first start, and at low RPM under light acceleration it makes the car sound like a big V8. At WOT I have trouble hearing it over the engine growl, especially now with the CAI (more on that in another topic).
4) The outer diameter of the Comptech tips is 3 1/2". I don't know what the diameter of the stock tips is.
Have fun!

1) no
2) i definately gained the lost torque below 3000 rpm (lost due to the intake). other than that, i dont feel a thing
3)pretty conservative. sounds factory past 3000 rpm. you wont get sick of it. if you do a lot of highway driving, id think twice
4) i dont know..perfect size though
not worth it, but id definately do it again
