Comptech Dealers

I got a set of Comptech Sway bars, I need installed.
I am on LI, N.Y. I called:
Island Ac
Vally Stream Ac
Hillside Ac
Curry Ac
Park Ave Ac
Ralley Ac
The only dealer that would install was Curry Acura, and they said 1.5/hrs per side, for a total of 3hours and $297! its 4 fxckin bolts!

I called all there service departments, and even tried to be alittle sneaky that I was possibly looking to buy not just install, and all of them said they where not dealing with aftermarket parts anymore.
I am at my parents house for the college winter break, I dont have any tools and never done anything like that before. So if anyone knew a dealer or was very familar and good at this stuff and wanted to be a good friend, get back to me.

P.S. don't move the thread, please.

Michael

any local garage would know how to install a sway bar, and they charge no more than 100 for sure

it's not anything complicated

It should take a garage about 30 min to install both of them. Don't go to the dealer.

All the Comptech info & prices are still on their website.
I thought they only stopped doing the Supercharger installs.

They stopped doing S/C installs even when Jens was there. Now that he's left they won't do anymore after-market installs period, from what I’m hearing. Glad we got in while the getting was good.

Also i'm not sure how well they handle that web site of theirs. I pointed out the mistake with pricing in regards to the Front Strut Bar for the CL over a year ago. They agreed it was wrong said they'd take care of it but its still up there.

Either way it looks like they're moving away from after-market installs. Going legit.

NEVER use the jack in the trunk when your under the car. You need a set of jack stands if your going to be under there.
