color choises

well since my intake manifold and my valve covers are off. what color should i paint them? my car is smr (red) with a few touches of carbon fiber, black interior

im already painting the intake manifold top cover flat black along with some other smaller piece. my valve cover look like crap, the paint is starting to fall off, well it is falling off and bad (damn salty roads). so what color. paint everything flat black?

what color calipers? i will get them painted when i get the nsx calipers, will be powder coated. black, red, gold/bronze,yellow????

would like your opinoin.

here is my tl with the I/M and valve covers painted. along with the engine cover pieces

I also tend to not like too many different colors... I'd probably stick to SMR, black, and possibly a fresh coat of stock "silver", etc (Gosh, if I didn't mention it, my Accord is SMR, I love that color! ) As for the calipers, I am doing my blue CLS's in red and tend to stick with that, but on my Accord, since it is already red, I was thinking YELLOW... would keep a stock (performance) look and still stand out a bit...

just my 2¢

Dont think the red would look to bad. Help pull the style of the car from the outside under the hood.

Sounds great! One thing about our engine bays, they don't look very nice, even when they are clean...
