cold cathode

okay all the ricers have neons-- i just got curious.. what about a cold cathode? can those be put into a car? how would you do it? i know that cold cathodes were originally and specifically made for PC mods because it doesnt create much temp and is much brighter then a neon-- sooo.. how can it be done?

Just wire it as you would with a neon. The only problem is it doesnt take much for them to snap. I broke 2 so I know.

Neon = rice is not a valid statement unless you put it everywhere. Decently installed neon would make the car looks better i.e footwell, trunk for stereo setup.

the car battery may vary too much for a cold cathode. I'd try it though. Cold Cathodes look better then Neons. Cold cathodes won't snap if u put them in arylic tubes.
