i have just reacentley put coilovers on my 01 cls ,for the first week they were ok,but now they are makeing all kinds of noises and rattles,ialso have the lumminas on the car,set on 4 and they are drop zone coilovers, is this a problem on most coilovers or just the cheap ones i bought,did not have $ for better ones .any help will be helpful

 

Never heard of drop zone, but its probably because you went with cheap coil-overs. If you didn't have the money, you should of just went with springs for now and got coil-overs later. Make sure all the nuts are torqued down properly. Also, make sure everything was installed and installed properly.

 

its because they are cheap... just get springs

 

Did you install them yourself or have a shop do it?

In either case, make sure everything is tightened. I've seen posts made by members complaining of noises, and most of the times, some parts were just loose.

 

yes i had a shop do them,they did the struts also at the same time cost me 225.00 to get them installed

 

dropzone = garbage

 

you get wut you pay for mang.
