A friend of mine dropped over this afternoon to show me his new ride. He used to have a CLS and is now driving a an 03 Cobra. I did not realize that the Cobra was S/C'ed. It was hellishly fast. He has the high boost pulley and the whine was intoxicating and acceleration was quite frankly an order of magnitude over my modded CLS.

His stock 0-60 time is 4.2 sec... when I total up all the money that I have spent on my CLS it makes me sick that I would be 1.5 sec slower (than a Ford).

Now having said that the CLS is more of a luxury car, but hell, you can never have too much power. Even with a S/C I couldn't even get close to that kind of performance. I need an M3.
