Clutch masters service can kiss my ass!!!
I bought a clutch masters FX 400 clutch/flywheel kit last year for my CLS6. August 6th to be exact.
The kit was in my room waiting to be installed... Then i look at the forums here and i saw that many people have problems with the clutch masters kit....
Starting problem, flywheel problems, ring gear...
So i realised that my flywheel ring gear have 123 teeths compared to 122 on the CM flywheel.
So i shipped the flywheel in november from Canada to California and i paid the shipping fees from my pockets.
3 WEEKS after i shipped the flywheel, no answer from thems... So i sent them an e-mail.
They write me back and told me to call José... so i called him and he is telling me that he dosent have the OEM ring gear to swap on the CM flywheel.
So i waited...
Same thing in january, i called him again and still the same.
Apparently, he agrees with me to say that im not the only one who have problems...
So, last week (february 22) i sent another email:
AND GUESS WHAT? They answered me:
-Yes!
Just a simple yes! Nothing more!
I replied:

THEY NEVER CALLED ME OR SENT ME AN E-MAIL to notify me that my flywheel is ready!
So i called José, he told me that i had to pay extra shipping fees because he says when i sent my flywheel to thems, i put the shipping fees on their account which is NOT TRUE!!!!
FUCK!!
He wants 100$ to have my flywheel shipped to Canada....
I paid more then 1250$ For my kit and i had to pay more and more....
Do i am the only one who is having problems with thems?

Thats a tricky situation,
Look what i did:
My friend work for Purolator (the biggest courrier company in canada). He have a employee discount of 75%.
So i sent the shipment under HIS name so i can have his big discount. I saved like 50$. Im not sure if he still have the receipt....
If not, im gonna ask him if he can call to the purolator service and give them his employee # and see if the reiceipt is still in the computer.

I've worked with Jose in the past. While its a bit difficult to get answers from them regarding the product itself (you have to disguise your questions to get an accurate response) I felt they were pretty easy to work with.
I ordered my clutch in the beginning of November 3rd and had to wait until mid-December for to receive it. Getting info from them regarding that was simple and quick.
