CLS6 vs 2012 335i Coupe
Well then you should be able to read it with ease lol. I know but my scanner/printer isn't hooked up right now and this way was faster. It's not all about dyno graphs anyways because even though I make a higher peak hp number and he makes a higher tq number we are pretty close the two times we played around racing. We never actually ran for a full pass yet. I'm supposed to have a race lined up this weekend with a 2012 6 speed accord that ran 13.2 on drag radials last weekend at the track. I'll let you guys know the outcome and I'll probably have a video also.

I highly doubt its stock. There was a guy on V 6 p with an 8G Accord in Canada that ran multiple 13.2 passes on street tires with an exhaust and intake. I cant remember if he had PCDs too. It was a 6MT.
Motor Week was able to get a 13.9 out of it bone stock.

Do you have or know where I can find a dyno of their car before the tune?
Im more interested in seeing the gains they got then anything. I dont care about peak numbers because every dyno reads differently, so HP numbers are only really important if youre using them to see before/after mods.

Here are 2 links to his build. I got more info off other forums also.

Not sure about the dyno, you would have to ask p2r. Sadly most info on here is speculation without real proof to back it up. I was just trusting him.
custom 4" intake, p2r thermal gaskets, bored tb, ported im, ported runners, p2r plenums, mdx horns, IMRC delete, custom headers, custom 3" single exhaust, accesories deleted for a few hp more, and tuned on aem ems for a few more. P2R said they were almost at 300 without tune tho. I would guess a lightweight pulley also but never saw it listed.

that's been tuned on the EMS was able to get ~20-25whp out of it. IIRC, his after numbers were 302whp, ~275 isn't almost 300 in my mind, its almost 280. Unless they were very conservative with the tune
I thought the same thing. I haven't actually seen the car in person but two of my good friends claims it's bone stock other than the drag radials so I'll see. It rained here last night so maybe if it stays nice tonight I'll go out.
Gotta love the CL's hp curve and flat torque curve. It's just the 335 has such a good torque curve at such a low rpm range.
I never brought my car to the track yet so I'm not sure what it runs. I think your getting my car confused with the one I'm supposed to be running haha he runs 13.2 in a 2012 accord. I went out of town Sat to Fayetteville 1/4 mile track in NC for some big grudge races event once a year. I just got back about a hour ago so I didn't get to set something up this weekend. I'll keep you guys updated when it happens and if I ever get to seriously race my friends 335i not just playing around side by side for a couple seconds ha.
Damn. 13.2 bone stock is hard to believe. I've seen a 13.7 on stock tires @102 with a 2.1 60'. With a 1.9 I could see a 13.4, but 13.2 seems sketchy. Once modded they can put down similar numbers as well sothe run should be pretty interesting if he's modded.
Both my friends say he's completely stock, I don't think they would lie ha. I'll check out the car once I see it in person. The only thing they said he had when he ran 13.2 was drag radials. It definitely should be a good race. I honestly have no idea what my car runs yet. I won't know till I have axles and slicks. It's pointless to run it the way it currently sits.

If he really is bone stock and ran a 13.2, that's ridiculous. Do you know at what trap speed? I'd imagine it'd have to be 103 or so to have an ET like that. That still seems too fast to be bone stock, even on DRs.
No way in hell is that bone stock.
Ive put plenty of miles and quite a few launches on an '08 V6-6 and it cant get out of the hole faster then my CL can, with or without traction control. And I know, with me at the wheel, my CL can't run a 13.2.

I spoke with my friend that knows him the car ran a 13.36@103 only mods are intake and drag radials. I don't know if it's true since I wasn't there and I haven't actually seen the car in person. I'm just going off his word. Will see what happens between us I won't be able to run unless we go from a slow roll about 20mph because traction issues. I'll keep you guys updated.
.

And the coupe is the only one available with the 6MT, its what my brother has ('08, Belize Blue, I was the one that drove it off the lot
)Its a quick car for what it is and the shorter final drive definitely helps, but it needs more then an intake to run a low 13 pass
Not saying it didnt run that, but it didnt run it with just an intake.
I'm not so sure I'd say a 13.36 @103 is out of the question with DRs. Considering I've seen 13.7 - 13.8 stock. I think this ET seems so fast because there aren't too many people in general who run DRs on the track with our cars. I believe 2 bolt on/6MT untuned base TLs ran mid 13s with DRs. I could see with DRs, intake, and perfect conditions a run this fast considering I've seen 13.7-13.8 @101-102 bone stock. I wouldn't say it's the norm tho lol. If so, great driving.
.
There was someone with just slicks and bolt ons on a CL that ran a 13.8(?). I forget the exact number.
There was a turbo'd CL that ran 12s, I think it was a 12.4, dont know what tires he was running.

Really? I know there was 1 member who ran a 13.39 @103 with bolt ons and DRs in a base 6MT TL. Another one I believe ran 13.5 (TLDream I think it was). The other member was like 'cbr' something I believe.
The 13.8 was a guy from Montreal. Think he had DR, intake and light weight pulley. Good weather also. I think he just recently sold a clutch in the black market...tool lazy to look up his ID
Well by what you guys are saying what other people ran, I should definitely be able to break into the 12's after my last few mods. What's the record for the fastest 03 CLS6 3.2 period supercharged, turbo, or nitrous? Other than that full blown rwd drag car.
when are you going to the track?
A turbo'd CL, ran deep into the 12s, I dont think he was on DRs. I forget the exact number though.
